The Watchtower was a quick exercise to revitalize a ruin of an old watchtower in the Appalachian Mountains along one of the many regional hiking trails. This quick 2D and 3D sketch illustrates an idea of displaying the tower as a transparent silhouette of its imaginary former structure. The appearance would hence change depending on the angle and distance in which it is seen from, emphasizing its historical presence without being intrusive to the hiking environment.
